When I saw the title of the thread, I knew it was a Who Dat Dish story. I don't think the Saints would do it.Dont think this will happen. Found it funny though that Nagy is known as one of the worst offensive play callers in the NFL. Guess he wasnt really calling the plays in K.C. Second wasn't he hired cause he was a so called offensive genius?
New Orleans Saints should trade for Allen Robinson
The New Orleans Saints need help at the wide receiver position and Allen Robinson could be available on the trade block.whodatdish.com
Stranger things have happened.Tom won’t go down, it’s a flag if you even come close to sneezing on him
Talk about the Vomit Comet of Qbs throwing to youIf you throw out the cap space issue/draft compensation and look at Robinson as a scheme fit, he'd be a great fit. He's one of the most well rounded WRs in football. Good size and speed, decent route runner, great at making contested catches, good deep, etc. He can do it all.
He's low key one of the best WRs in the game but it's hard to become a super star with these guys throwing you the ball:
Blake Bortles
Chad Henne
Mitch Trubisky
Nick Foles
Cameron Meredith...money down the drain.
Also, Kevin White was with the Bears.
This sounds like sour grapes from Kevin White and his people. Had Kevin White been awesome at football and healthy then they would've made it work with White and Robinson. White might've been limited to playing on the outside but Robinson isn't. He can line up anywhere on the field. Robinson could've lined up at Z with Taylor Gabriel in the slot.Robinson is the reason Kevin White never really got a fair shake in Chicago. He was drafted and then injured back to back years. In the meantime, they got new people in the FO and signed Robinson in FA to play the X, the only position that White played. So White was essentially forced out.
There's an article that explains the situation better, but that's pretty much what happened.
