Saints should trade Michael Thomas to the Dolphins for Devante a Parker and a pick. (1 Viewer)

Why do you think they would have traded him by now? What lead you to this conclusion other than the Duncan article?
No...pretty basic logic knowing Payton, understanding Thomas's suspension last year, and knowing just how much CGM screwed up. I honestly don't even remember the Duncan article.

I’m sure this has been beaten to death but I feel like it needs to be restated:

There is no question Mike Thomas is a gifted WR, who if we could ever get on the field again would benefit us greatly.

That being said it’s been nearly 2 years since we have had a healthy Mike Thomas on the field, you are only as good as your availability. Due to cap restrictions I am willing to allow him to health, but if he can’t be available for our playoff run this year we have to think of trading him next year.

Mike Thomas would command a lot of capital back if we traded him to a WR hungry team. I like the Parker idea but he is basically a younger more inexperienced version of Thomas; plus we would definitely get a high pick back.

No thanks. Honestly don't think this will age well once Thomas gets back on the field for us in the near future. He has a very minimal injury history prior to hurting his ankle, so I'm not concerned about injuries with him now that he has had his ankle surgically repaired. He's still right in his prime and can provide several more high quality seasons for us.
This might be different, but we all thought the same thing with Julio. But he never could stay healthy after a certain point.
