Brian Dixon is back with the New Orleans Saints.

The cornerback was added to the team's practice squad Monday after being released last week so the team could re-sign offensive lineman Khalif Barnes.

Dixon was brought up from the practice squad to play on special teams against the San Diego Chargers last week.

The Saints also released offensive lineman Tyrus Thompson from injured reserve.
