Special Teamer. I can't wait for SuperKids review seriously. From my naked eye I see crappy instincts, but, really good reactions. (make sense?) He's around the ball, keeps his head up and is opportunistic.

Didn't half of his interceptions come against Jarvis Landry?
Landry Jones was the QB
I just finished watching 2 tapes of him, one was his XFL game with the Houston Roughnecks vs. the Dallas Renegades. Second game film I went to his USF college game in 2017.Special Teamer. Me - 3 words You - Book (lol.. good on ya)I just finished watching 2 tapes of him, one was his XFL game with the Houston Roughnecks vs. the Dallas Renegades. Second game film I went to his USF college game in 2017.
Just some humble takeaways:
Background: Height 5'11. Weight 189 lbs.
College: 4 years Southern Florida.
Undrafted 2018, one season with tbe Arizona Cardinals.
Ball skills, he has really good Zone instincts. Breaking on passes while looking back at the QB, finished his collegiate career with 11 interceptions at USF. He's pretty comfortable in off coverage, and shows good quickness and closing burst attacking downhill to close on screens and hitches.
He's pretty much your proto-typical Slot as far as size goes, some concerns were there weren't many instances of him being matched up in straight Man coverage that I could see.
In the XFL game vs Dallas he picked off Landry Jones twice, one was a tipped pass off the WR hands that bounced right to him... but his Second Interception he was the Flat Defender and read Landry's eyes perfectly and drifted off his route back inside to the middle of the field and displayed great hands coming down with an Interception.
If he wins a spot on the roster in camp, pre-season he could be a serviceable 4th, 5th Corner.. who would back-up CGJ in the Slot. He would fit really well when playing zone as I think he's ideal as a guy who would be an Over-hang Defender in Nickel/Dime, or playing underneath in Cover-2 . If he shows he can cover Kicks that would help his case a lot.
One look into Gase's eyes and he said no way.Profootballrumors is showing the JETS as signing him. Was it us instead?

That’s the tag line for whoever signs Winston
