The New Orleans Saints continue to tweak the roster during the early stages of the offseason.

The Saints signed long snapper Jesse Schmitt to a two-year deal, a source familiar with the transaction confirmed Wednesday.

Schmitt's signing comes after a successful tryout, which is noted in Wednesday's NFL Transactions report, for Saints personnel at the Husted Pro Camp.
