I think this move will prove it's value over the long haul. TRUE, it would be great if Sherels offered more than just being a KR/PR. But he is one of the better return specialists in the league today and he's been at if for a long time. What's more, Sherels will let AK focus on just O and save him from the dangers of ST. Very smart, albeit, an under the radar move.

I'm so glad we actually addressed this position with a proven veteran for once instead of wasting draft picks on lottery ticket return men like Marcus Murphy and Boston Scott (only to be left with a hole).

We haven't had even a competent return man since Courtney Roby, nearly a decade ago.

We pretty much HAD to find a return specialist this year. Ginn really can't do it anymore, and not only can we not risk Kamara, his workload is probably going to increase to the point where there's no way we can put that load on him as well. We're going to have to find ways to keep him fresh.

Agreed. That area of play was so terrible for atleast like 5 years. I forgot what it’s like to even see a 10 yd return from a saint.
