To be totally frank with you guys and girls, I am a little bummed. Coach Pete was working on me to get a shot as returner for the Saints. My 40 is down from 7.4 seconds to 6.2. I'm a white guy so my vertical jump was 5.2 inches and broad jump, long jump was 2'11" and I have pretty quick burst as well as strength benching 135 8-times. Thought I had a shot this year at making the Saints. I am pretty crushed that SP and Ireland did not give me a real tryout. Can any of you WhoDats setup a trial with Coach SP for me as punt returner? I have skills!!! Just not many.

Can you field the ball cleanly AND Fair Catch???

That alone will drastically improved the KO and KR yardage!

(I've never seen so many holding and block in the back calls on ST's...)

I dunno...most of the returns in those highlights were against the Lions. Thats practically cheating

Not to mention that on nearly every return the Vikings got away with either 1) a blatant hold that we will never get away with or 2) a block in the shoulder that will surely be called a block in the back on us.

I really wanted to see Jakeem Grant in the Black n Gold. He do it all and can play slot WR too. The Marcus signing idk about that one. Jakeem Grant would hve put Special Teams and the Field position over the top. Cant believe Saints didnt mke a push for Grant being the ST coach come from Miami.

Was he a free agent? He's only been in the league 2 years so he would've been exclusive rights if he was.

Ummm, he'll be 32 yrs old come Regular Season...

So? Ginn was 32 last year and still the fastest player on the team. Considering he's been a return specialist his whole career, he has no mileage on him and should be just as fast this year as he was last. Especially since he's coming here specifically to have a shot at winning a super bowl. It's not like he's a running back who carried the ball 300 times a year since getting to the league at 32 coming to be our starting back.

Absolutely Tinman. I am 5'10" in my girlfriend's heals. And one thing you as a Who Dat can know, I can fake physical wrong doing to near academy award levels. If that had been me instead of Tommy Lee on the field after the egregious no call, I would probably still be on the turf. I would have gotten that flag thrown if it took me fake passing out on the field.

So that's another reason SP should give me a tryout. Who Dats, you gotta get to the coaches to secure my tryout. I will represent the entire Who Dat Nation - lol

I've been trying to get folks to join my class action suite against the NFL for discriminating against slow, unathletic, overweight, midddle-aged men with little or no organized football experience.

Lawyer told me that I would absolutely win, but it might not be worth it. Said that I would be suing for "lost potential earnings". And seeings how I would likely only survive one play in the NFL, the potential length of my career would only amount to around $4.37 and some change.

His retainer was $10,000.oo I may suck at football, but I'm good at math. So, the NFL is off the hook for the time being.

VPCajun - As long as I stay away from a couple of Monsoons at Port O Call before the game, I can fair catch pretty well. Again, as stated above, I can fake infractions up there with Michael Irvin when was playing lol.

I am on a mission. I need a tryout with SP. It's the least I can do for my fellow Who Dats. Help me get the tryout. We need to get to Underhill before he leaves lol
