Thirteen years ago, another Montana receiver by the name of Marc Mariani was drafted in the 7th round by TEN and made the Pro Bowl as a KR in his rookie season.

Flowers has the potential to do the same.

It's not as much about speed, but efficiency running. So smooth and seamless, sudden change of direction. Every move at 100%. Only a 4.5 40 which shows that's over-rated. He has football speed and is sudden!!!

He goes largely overlooked because he only did it in spots during his Saints career (albeit big spots and with success) but Pierre Thomas was an outstanding kick returner! The all-time leader in University of Illinois history (he beat Red Grange’s record).

PT23 was not a “fast” guy, but he could read the field, read his blocking, and run decisively…. It’s really what made him perhaps the best screen RB that ever was.
