The NFL allows teams to bring in five veterans to try out at rookie minicamps, and the New Orleans Saints have always taken full advantage and found veterans who ended up signing Sunday.

At least one of this year's crop is already in the fold.

New Orleans is signing veteran tackle Michael Ola to a one-year-deal, says a league source, a move that adds a player with 31 starts under his belt to an offensive line that lost some of its veteran depth this offseason.

Ola, a CFL product who has spent time with seven NFL teams and made 12 starts for the Chicago Bears in 2014, played in two games for the Chargers in 2017.
