BPA and prototypes are two different things. We normally draft the BPA at an area of need if there's value there

You never, never go into the draft hoping to fill a position. That will lead to reaching for a player at a specific position and ignoring better players at other positions. This is how the Saints work. They will try to fill as many gaps as possible allowing them to go best player available in the draft so they aren't tied to any one position with their next pick.

Worse case the draft pick will be a rotational piece until they emerge as a viable starter. Every position is filled on this roster so anyone we draft, we draft for the future and can be patient with their development.

One thing for sure is we need explosion on offense at RB and WR, interior OL help and more depth at DT, and LB.
