So they quickly signed Ozigbo, who was in TC with us ( n played well too) off the Jags PS. By rule, he must now stay on the 53 for a 3 week minimum.
where’s this rumor coming from

3 week thing isn’t true

  • If a practice squad player is signed to the active roster, he will receive a minimum of three weekly paychecks, even if he is released before spending three weeks with the new team.

Miller adds some veteran depth for now. But I did wonder about what the Colts want for Mack, must be high because I haven't seen any suitors. An it does make you wonder where Adrian Peterson is and if he has anything left in the tank. He still looked good at times last year.

I posted this in the Lutz thread yesterday. Your source seems to have not finish reading the entire clause that says the team also has to account for them on the 53 man roster for 3 weeks.

I found this in Article 33 of the newest CBA.

Section 6. Active List (Other Clubs): If a player on the Practice Squad of one club (Club A) signs an NFL Player Contract with another club (Club B), (1) the player shall receive three weeks salary of his NFL Player Contract at the 53-player Active/Inactive List minimum even if he is terminated by Club B prior to earning that amount, and (2) Club B is required to count the player on its 53-player Active/Inactive List for three games
