#Saints are signing DE Noah Spence today, source says. With Marcus Davenport out for the season (as @TomPelissero and @RapSheet reported) the former #Buccaneers second-rounder is in.

I guess we could do worse than that considering what's available at this point in the season. And I'd think he's being signed more as depth behind the guys who've been part of the team all year in case one of them happens to get injured.

Still only 25 and former #39 overall from the 2016 draft. Not a bad signing and I remember a lot of buzz on the board of people wanting him back then.

I'm optimistic. He's only 25, was highly drafted but has played for 2 <*derogatory expletive adjective here*> organizations in Tampa Bay and Washington. He's listed as an OLB, though so...interesting.

Ah, yes. Noah Spence, the pass-rushing dynamo out of OSU that was in the draft the same year we got Rankins. Was a character case back then, IIRC. Hoping for something serviceable out of him in the wake of the Davenport injury.

Maybe being with his old OSU buddies on his third NFL team will light a fire under him to play better than he ever has since he’s been in the league.
