I am sure they are around, but it seems that in most of the reviews I've seen I have not seen our coaching staff/scouts mentioned. Are we that stealth? In the past couple of days, I read that Mayo, LB, TN, probably moved into round 1 and Talib lowered his 40 to 4.41.

Pro Days for players who worked out at the combine are a waste of time IMHO. You've already seen these guys workout on a neutral surface, now come see them do the same things on a surface that is probably alot faster, to make themselves look better?

I find this to be an interesting subject. I'd like to have started a thread (discussion) on this very subject but I don't know how to do it. Any advice would be appreciated.

The Saints FO must rely fairly heavily on Pro Days. Usama Young was the first player picked in the draft last year that wasn't invited to the combine. HIs pro day was all he had to work out and otherwise show what he could do.

I don't think Jermon Bushrod's college had a Pro Day, he had to rely on individual workouts to show his stuff. The Saints sent their offensive line coach to work him out just days before the draft and ended up taking him in round 4.

Now the jury is still out on whether these guys are NFL players or not. But I think the case can be made that the Saints FO doesn't think pro days and individual workouts are a waste of time.
