No matter which stage of disbelief you’re currently in over Ravens placekicker Justin Tucker missing the extra point to give New Orleans a 24-23 win Sunday, just don’t let it cloud your judgment of how great a football game preceded that fortunate mishap.
In an age of 7-on-7 football, Sunday’s showdown in Baltimore was more than refreshing. It was a truly great football game.
That first drive of the game was so intense. Going for it on fourth down multiple times on the first drive should have given Black-and-Gold fans everywhere a clear indication of what was about to take place.

Perhaps I’m being way too nostalgic. Perhaps I’m still traumatized by watching the Buccaneers season opener and UL’s homecoming blowout of New Mexico State.
But in my mind, that was one of the best non-Falcons Saints games I’ve ever seen. ...
