The New Orleans Saints have a lot of decisions to make this offseason, but the most important will be who their quarterback is going forward.
Drew Brees, Tayson Hill, and Teddy Bridgewater were all on the roster last season, but all three could leave this offseason. There can be a strong argument made for each guy being the quarterback next season for the Saints, but there are also some reasons why each guy should go in a different direction.
Let’s break down the pros and cons of each player.
Drew Brees
Pros
Drew Brees is 41 years old, but he has still proven to be an above-average NFL quarterback. During the 2019 season, he completed 74.3 percent of his passes for 2,979 yards, 27 touchdowns, and four interceptions. Even though he might not make all the throws he once could, he has still proven he can make everyone around him better.
There is also an emotional connection with the Saints and Brees, and if the team went in a different direction and there were struggles, a lot of second-guessing would happen. ...
