Saints this years Minnesota Viking? (1 Viewer)

I’ve thought from the jump (since we signed Carr) that we’d win the division and one playoff game. Still feel that way and I’d be happy with that.

I do feel that San Fran 🤮 and Dallas are the cream of the crop this season in the NFC. Maybe Philly too. Dallas should implode in the playoffs, if Hurts is out we’d have a good shot at beating Philly (he kills us) leaving the Niners. That’s the only team I feel truly outclasses us in our conference this season. Any given Sunday tho and I’m excited to be 2-0.

P.S.
Totally apathetic towards the Vikings, may even like em a little. lol so I don’t mind the comparison.

Unfortunately, I don't see this offense ever becoming the offensive juggernaut it was under Payton/Brees, regardless of talent, as long as DA is HC.
Until I see more aggressiveness in the RZ, 4th and short situations, etc, I'll continue to believe that this coach's philosophy is to play to not lose.

Dallas lost Diggs for the year. They aren't gonna stay at the top forever this year.

Sorry, should have specified….I think they’re top 3 NFC for the regular season. With or without Trevon. 😊
I was quoting Tyrone Biggums when I said chinese riddle, so it wasn't meant to be fully serious. You did mention more than one team as the cream of the crop, but it might have been limited to 2.

I’d say there is a difference.
The Vikings look to be a one year wonder.
I think the Saints could have a three to four year run with Carr.

We have the defense to win championships.

We have a quarterback that can excel in our offense
We have a great cast of skill players around him, but....
We have a OL that is currently lacking the skills for the above to be consistent.

Their progression or lack thereof will determine the team's potential.
