Brunell was the third stringer in Washington.

He's got nothing left but actually would work in an offense like this if he had to compared to most others in the league. He can get the ball about ohhh 5 yards down field, so he's good for the quick passes.

Beyond that, I think he's good for some jokes every now and then.

He may be signed but I don't think by tomorrow. There are still a couple other possibilites I think the Saints might look at like Kelly Holcomb and Luke McCown. JMO

I don't know why, Gray's probably the most "game capable" backup of the bunch. But he's also younger which means he's more likely to want to go to a situation where he at least has a shot somewhere down the road of competing for the starting spot and he's not what we're looking for which is more a sideline manager, film room guru, shoulder for Drew to lean on, etc.
