The New Orleans Saints settled their early-season travel plans, per a report from Jeff Duncan of the Times-Picayune. With road trips scheduled against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 2 and the Seattle Seahawks in Week 3, the Saints opted to stay on the West Coast rather than pack in so many cross-country flights to such a small window.
Duncan reports that the Saints will fly up to Seattle following their game against the Rams, and plan to practice at the University of Washington’s facilities in the days leading up to their kickoff against the Seahawks. The Washington Huskies football team is scheduled to travel to BYU that week, so that should help with the logistics of two big programs sharing space.
