Yep. He’s an edge.He still looks like a guy that is not comfortable playing off the line.

I've said it a few times before in other threads. Baun is better suited for a 3-4 defense.Yep. He’s an edge.
Agreed. Wish we’d not have drafted him with hopes of completely changing his game and position.I've said it a few times before in other threads. Baun is better suited for a 3-4 defense.
We almost drafted him in the 1st too..Agreed. Wish we’d not have drafted him with hopes of completely changing his game and position.
??? Holy smokes we did?We almost drafted him in the 1st too..
That COVID draft was a nightmare. We was throwing darts blindfolded in that draft, man.
Wonder if Colston is salty somebody is wearing his number and it hasn't been retired yet? Prolly not bc he's chill af, but still.
The Saints don't retire numbers, but I guarantee 8 and 9 will never be reissued.Wonder if Colston is salty somebody is wearing his number and it hasn't been retired yet? Prolly not bc he's chill af, but still.
Wow I had no idea about that. Glad we didn't do it.We almost drafted him in the 1st too..

Yeah… and I’m grieved to see Ruiz sporting the number Mills & Vilma were rocking. The Saints don't retire numbers, but I guarantee 8 and 9 will never be reissued.
I’m trying to remember the name of the camp beast wr from 3-4 years ago. I think he was from Northern Arizona. What happened to that guy (other than he didn’t pan out)?
And then there’s Roby.Man, is it crazy to think that we might just have two #1-caliber CBs on the roster (knocking on wood, of course)? If Adebo doesn't fall off the ledge Crawley-style keep growing from where he was last season, then we might be dominant on the boundary.

I don't know that we use a Sam LB'er much anymore. Jenkins filled that role from the safety spot most of the time. He played close to the line on that side of the line on run downs and covered TE's running a drag across the middle and RB's coming out of the backfield on swing passes. I don't know, maybe Baun would fit there.I don't know why we haven't tried him as a strong side LB. That seems like the perfect position for him in our defense.
