I'm guessing with his child being born and his injury history the coaches have probably seen all they need to see. He's been awesome so far. Safe to say he probably won't play Friday?

Did you notice the Houston commentators (I think it was Spencer Tillman) kept stating how active Ellerbe was around the ball? Most home town announcers focus on their team & players however they made it a point to be sure we knew that he was making plays.

That in itself was every encouraging. I cross my fingers he stays healthy because he is a baller at the position.

The Houston commentators were much better than the NE ones. They were at least saying the names of the Saints players.
