I would be all for having 7 reliable linemen this coming season. Don't really want to see either Tom or Clapp forced into action.

Same here so unless we’re doing something great with that cap space....like signing Clowney or Griffin. I’m hoping we don’t cut Warford. We’ll likely need the depth come playoff time.

Warford salary this year is 7.75 million and 5.125 million dead money for 12,875 million this year that's a lot to pay a # 2 guard.

I think any trade is worth considering because it’s a lot of money. But releasing him isn’t nearly as sensible. Having him over releasing him only costs $7.75M. The rest is a sunk cost - you pay the dead money either way.
