Pro Football Rumors ran a poll last week in which voters picked the Saints least likely to miss the playoffs this season.
It’s totally unscientific, but the website Pro Football Rumors is currently running a poll that started on July 7 asking which NFL team that was in the playoffs last year would be most likely to miss the playoffs this year. As of this being published, 2,722 voters had weighed in. The team with the fewest votes, thus most likely to return in their opinion, was the New Orleans Saints with only 24 votes.
There’s no significance to the poll or its results other than to gauge what people are feeling about who the stronger and weaker teams are ahead of the 2019 Season. In its current format, the NFL playoffs include 12 participating teams, eight divisional champions and four wildcard teams.
On the other end of the spectrum, the team getting the most votes in the poll with 820 is the Baltimore Ravens. In polls such as this, of course, you’re as likely to have votes cast for teams based purely on a person’s dislike for that team. ...
