Saints vs Backup QBs (1 Viewer)

There you go again slowchild. Ruining all our perceived negativity with facts.

Not during the Payton era but does anyone remember when DeBerg beat us when he was with Atlanta. Dude was like 40 something I think and set some NFL record for the oldest QB. I don't remember all the details as I have tried to blank that out of my mind

Thanks for all the research slowchild, very impressive

It sure feels like our record is worse than that

Glad to see it perception and not reality

New Orleans Saints at Atlanta Falcons - October 18th, 1998 | Pro-Football-Reference.com

I remember that he was 44 years old! Looks like he came in for Chandler. I do not miss the Billy Joe era (more like error) :covri:

Other than that though it looks like ol Steve struggled against us:

Steve DeBerg Career Game Log vs. Saints | Pro-Football-Reference.com

If only the 49ers stuck with him instead of some loser named Joe Montegna or whatever his name was :meh-1:

One of the all time worst was Max Hall in 2010 for Arizona.

Steve DeBerg was the worst for me. 44 year old dude waaay past his prime and came in and beat us. Plus it was the Falcons. That was all they talked about.

De Berg was a pretty darn good QB.
