New Orleans Saints wide receivers Brandin Cooks and Brandon Coleman may have been on the basketball court Sunday night, but the only thing on their minds was getting back on the football field next Sunday for the team's season opener against the Oakland Raiders.
The Saints' pass-catching duo was at Devlin Fieldhouse on Sunday to help the Devon Walker Foundation with its first annual celebrity basketball fundraiser and expressed their excitement for the beginning of the 2016 regular season.
In 2015, Cooks led the Saints potent passing attack with 84 catches for 1,138 yards and nine touchdowns. Coleman had 30 catches for 454 yards and two touchdowns in his first season on the roster after spending most of 2014 on the New Orleans practice squad.
