So exactly what should New Orleans Saints’ fans be considering as they watch the NFL playoffs this weekend. For one, they should be enjoying the fact that for the first time in the franchise’s history, they can sit and watch a playoff weekend knowing that the Saints still have a game left to play.
As for on the field, the AFC games don’t really matter. Sure, it’s possible that the Saints could make the Super Bowl. If that happens, though, will it really matter to you which team they would be matched up again.
If you must, however, for the sake of argument, I would root for the favorites to win. You don’t want the top seeds — the Ravens and the Chargers — to get relatively easy second-round games. Personally, I’d want them to get challenged as much as possible, instead of cruising past the Jets or Chiefs on their way to the Super Bowl.
