Salesman: Bama players used spray (1 Viewer)

oppps

Key said he sold about 20 bottles of deer-antler spray to LSU players before the regular-season meeting with Alabama that year.

True or not, this guy is obviously taking advantage of free publicity.

what the heck is Deer Antler spray?

From the article...
"You're familiar with HGH, correct? It's converted in the liver to IGF-1," Key explained, according to the Sports Illustrated report. "IGF-1, or insulin-like growth factor, is a natural, anabolic hormone that stimulates muscle growth. We have deer that we harvest out of New Zealand. Their antlers are the fastest-growing substance on planet Earth ... because of the high concentration of IGF-1.

"We've been able to freeze dry that out, extract it, put it in a sublingual spray that you shake for 20 seconds and then spray three [times] under your tongue. ... This stuff has been around for almost 1,000 years, this is stuff from the Chinese," Key said, according to the magazine.

So stupid, they should just let them use synthetic version so that dummies don't go rippin' deer horns off when they could be using a synthetic version that does the same thing.

Didnt some scientist come out and say it is scientifically impossible to take IGF-1 via spray?

yes.

and yet SEC football players ( who will NEVER be mistaken for Mensa members ) continue to purchase/provide testimonials ( prolly paid to do so )

imagine that. HAHA.

Ok. That just makes this whole thing hilarious. Who cares if Ray Lewis or any other players have used this product. This whole 'Ray Lewis used a banned substance' this is a moot point!

Someone needs to be looking out for these kids and keep them from being duped.

In a perfect world it would contain some mutagenic retrovirus that rewrites their DNA and turns them into half-deer, half-man hybrids.
