Not too smart to say some of the things he said IMO.

“You know, some weeks when we didn’t have to play the harder teams, there were some times when effort was not needed,” he said.

“But when we had the big boys coming in — the Bamas or the South Carolinas — I grabbed close to those guys and went all-out.”

That and his comments about betting on games with teammates could cost him on draft day... not that he actually made bets with teammates, that happens all the time, but that he had a big enough mouth not to keep it to himself.

Well that's disappointing to hear. Not that ALL athletes don't have similar feelings at some point or another, but dumb to say out loud when you are essentially at a job interview.
