Sausage for Jambalaya ? (2 Viewers)

Well as I was cooking up some jambalaya yesterday, cutting up my Manda sausage, it got me to thinking, what brand smoked sausage do you guys use for your jambalaya?

I've found Manda to be the tastiest so far, on po-boys too

Have you tried any of the McCain Farms sausages? They are local folks....it ain't bad.

Yeah, Brookshire's has it. It comes in several varieties. I think that Mac's Fresh Market has it, too.

I use Andouille from local meat markets mostly Legnon's in New Iberia and Joyce's in St. Martinville.

there's a brand out here in Texas that actually has ex-Saint Earl Campbell's picture on it and i believe is named after him-- haven't used it in a while, but it's really good in jambalaya.
