The Seattle Seahawks announced Tuesday that they’ve waived rookie WR Gary Jennings.
Jennings, 22, was drafted by the Seahawks out of West Virginia in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft.
During his four-year college career, Jennings caught 168 passes for 2294 yards (13.7 YPC) and 17 touchdowns in 45 games.

Wish Saints could pick him up

Why do you wish the Saints would pick him up....what's he going to do, step in and catch 15 passes opposite Thomas come Sunday?

No receiver is going to step into this offense and have an impact like they could in simpler offenses, but long term, if he isn’t injury prone and can stay on the field, then why not.

Really wish I understood what happened with the Snead situation. Him pre-dui would be awesome for this team.

If TQS is back healthy with Kirkwood looking on pace to be back after the Bucs, I don't think we really have a roster spot for him. Who would you cut at this point of the season to sign a rookie who has no clue how to run anything in this complicated offense?

Oh now there ya go being sensible and practical. We can get truth at home. Dang it we want dreams of glory at any cost. Get em all and let Loomis figure it out.

We have three WRs on the practice squad; Emanuel Butler, Lil Jordan Humphrey and Taquan MIzzell. Kirkwood could come back. TQS should be back, soon. Travin Dural and Simmie Cobbs are both free agents. I'm not sure where Jennings would fall in that pecking order.

I’d rather have Greg Jennings than Gary Jennings. He retired 3 years ago, but still.

IIRC, the Saints actually showed some interest in him during the Senior Bowl.

Why do we have to go through this with every player someone cuts? ?
