We got screwed in 17 and 18. We all remember the Rams game but a lot of us forget that in the Vikings game Brees drew them off sides on a 3rd and short which would have allowed to run the clock down before we kicked the field goal that put us up.

In 8 playoff seasons, he has 1 ring. In 11, 17, and 18 we had teams capable of winning one. We should be a dynasty at this point. Drew would be chasing #4 or 5 and the debate would be over about him and Tom.

100% and those missed opportunities will allow the talking heads to diminish what has happened here. Unfairly. The unbelievably crazy way we lost some of those games should not diminish

Everyone talks about the Brees injury situation and Taysom Hill and Jameis Winston and all of the other talking points but the one common thread in all of it that holds everything together and the media NEVER talks about is Sean Payton.

I've been one of his harshest critics at times when he forgets that the Saints DO HAVE a very good running game but in times like what the Saints are going through right now he figures things out and adjusts accordingly!!

Two seasons in a row you lose your first ballot HOF QB and the team just keeps on winning!! Man that is good stuff there!!
