Sean Payton says he didn't see tension between Dennis Allen and CB Keenan Lewis | NOLA.com

Payton commented on the situation after the game.

If a strained relationship existed, coach Sean Payton said he hadn't seen it before the team chose to move on from the veteran cornerback and West Bank native.
"I don't think so," Payton said when asked if there was tension between Lewis and Allen. "We didn't have a chance to. He wasn't on the field.

Interesting because Keenan Lewis never said there was any visual tension or an altercation either. He said he told Allen look at me now after u told me I wouldn't make it. Then said he doesn't know whether Allen took that personally or not but he began hearing whispers he wasn't one of "his" guys.

Yet SP said it best..came down to availability and Allen is a stickler for practice. He was irritated with Byrd last year for not practicing.

Speaking of Byrd....non factor he's def gone next year unless he balls out.

Yeah I'm wondering if Payton&Lewis did not get along either? Guess it does not matter now.
