The controversy surrounding San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick's decision to not stand during the playing of the national anthem has dominated headlines in past days.

New Orleans Saints coach Sean Payton took a few moments Monday morning during a conference call to answer a few questions on the matter.

"I haven't even seen it, I'd heard about it, news all over the country," Payton said. "Honestly, we got a lot more important things we're working on right here in our building."
