Another failure post Brees damages his legacy not only in NOLA, but also the Hall.

My thing is with Sean Payton, he just is too arrogant and very spiteful and petty. We loved it, you loved it..when he was our coach.

With Drew Brees, Sean Payton did the impossible: he won a Super Bowl and my Grandparents, and beacoup kin in Louisiana saw the Super Bowl geaux Black and Gold.

He set records, broke records, trolled teams, got screwed and came back with a vengeance. That's what folk in NH call, "Moxy".

Payton did this to himself and it seems like how he did New Orleans can never be repaired. But if he was fired and wanted to come back and coach as an OC and make Pete Carmichael Assist. I welcome it.

But he quit on us. And I'm glad I don't see so many penalties and flags lol.

Now if this is true or not, I don’t know, but it does raise the question has the team given up on this season already—-because 70 points in the NFL is absolutely unacceptable in any way shape or form

Coaching contracts are usually guaranteed and he’s at about $18 million a year for the next five. I can’t see them taking that kind of hit after only one season. Broncos have sunk too much into Wilson and Payton and really have no choice but to ride this out for awhile.

Completely agree. That is why I said it is hard to believe. I do believe it though. I think he is in Urban Meyer/Jacksonville territory.

I suspect the negative press they are going to get if this continues will be unbearable. The Dolphins offensive is scary good, but if they can hang a 70 on the Broncos, KC might be able to do it twice.

You think Sean Payton and Sneaky Pete are running the same offense? The only thing that is similar is terminology.
We had more 30 points games with CSP in 2021 with Winston/Siemian/Hill at QB, horrible kicking, and UDFAs and practice squad receivers than we have under 20 games with Sneaky Pete and it isn't even close. At some point, we will need to look at where the actual problems lie.
