Saints will be missing the playoffs for the fourth time in five years. Drafts haven't been great, FA signings have been abysmal for the most part. How much longer does Payton have? When is he held accountable?
For comparison, national talk shows have questioned the job status of Mike McCarthy. A coach who has taken his team to the playoffs seven straight years until this season. Yet it seems Payton doesn't get criticized.
We are all thankful for 2010. Since that point, the team has only gone to the playoffs (10,11,13) three times. He continously employs coaches who haven't gotten it done. I realize he has a contract, where are you at with him? What do you think the Saints will do?
