Even though Alabama had a breakthrough season last year and went to the SEC Title Game, in all due honesty, it's going to be much harder for them to duplicate that same success this year with LSU, a much improved Ole Miss team, and of course Tebow wanting to finish his college career with back to back NC's. Then there's Auburn. I know we are in the re-building mode, any half way rational minded Auburn fan such as myself can see that, but the thing about Auburn and especially looking at our past is that we can pull off some great seasons when nobody really saw it coming or even knew we had the potential. We can come out of nowhere and surprise a whole lot of people when nobody even thought we could. Our 93, 94 teams under Bowden took a lot of people by surprise. We beat Spurrier's Gators two straight years in a row and we were on suspension the whole time. We only lost 1 game IIRC in Bowden first two years as our HC. Of course he was using Pat Dye's recruits and all, but still few people saw it coming, some not even in the slightest.

So, as much as some people want to dismiss us completely, and believe we have some big rebuilding to do, don't overlook the distinct possibility for us to come out and maybe surprise some SEC teams because we have done it in the past. You can never be too sure about what kind of Auburn team will show up year to year or even from game to game. And this is coming from a die-hard life long Auburn fan.

I wonder if the Florida-LSU game will be televised this year.

I hope it's not on CBS. I hate hearing Verne Lundquist get all gushy over God-boy.

The Bama Va. Tech game will tell a lot about what kind of team Bama will have this year. Bama has a new QB starting this year and three new starting O-lineman so offense is going to be a big ? this year. Defense should be solid it will be hard for anybody to score on us. Can't wait for the season to get here.

^This.

I thought he um "went" in his pants when we faked the jump pass last year.

I've said it before but if that first TD to Percy Harvin is just knocked down enough to be incomplete that would have been a COMPLETELY different game.
