NFL Draft Senior Bowl 2021 (1 Viewer)

Not going to lie: I wish there was a way to get Najee Harris. Wouldn’t do it in the 1st of course but if the draft fell a certain way I could see it.

I like Javonte Williams more. I still love harris but, I think Javonte is special. Dude broke 75 tackles this year which is 6 more then Harris, and he did it with 95 less carries.

Do yall know how ridiculous that is?

Dude is special!

No Kyle Trask. Injury...

No QB Kyle Trask on the Senior Bowl roster. I'm told it is an ankle injury that will keep him from participating this week.

Darn it...Was looking forward to seeing Trask sling it. Hoping Sam Ehlinger represents himself well. Ehlinger reminds me a ton of Taysom, but w/far more refined & diverse passing ability.

In the latest “Saints Talk” podcast, Nick Underhill stated that (next to QB), he believes EDGE is the biggest need for the Saints this offseason... (he predicts T-Rex signs elsewhere and the Saints make keeping Marcus Williams a priority).

With that said, keep an eye on the EDGE defenders at the Senior Bowl...

One guy that stood out to me is Tarron Jackson from Coastal Carolina. He’s on the short side at only 6’2, but he’s built well at 260lbs and he’s got a great burst/1st step off the snap and he’s explosive. He could potentially be a rotational DE/pass rush specialist... and he might be available with one of those 3rd rounders.

Measurements from the 2021 Senior Bowl

Jamie Newman looks like he’s nice size at QB

I have no issues with Michael Burton at FB... but Michigan FB Ben Mason at 6’2, 260lbs looks intriguing.

Charles Snowden is a legit 6’6 230+lb OLB with coverage skills. 👀

JaCoby Stevens measures a little smaller than anticipated. Too small for a LB and not quite athletic enough for a true Safety. He is a good player... someone is going to get a nice value when he slides.

Mac Jones coming in at only 6'2 but has solid arm length at 32.5 and hand size at 9 3/4.

Najee Harris also is a winner at 6'1 230 with 33" arms and 10 inch hands to prevent fumbles.

I’ll check both of those guys out. Thanks for the heads up.
And that’s big praise for Tryon.

Those are some solid measurements for speed rush/pressure specialist like Shaka Toney. NOT saying he’s Von Miller, just saying he’s got the sa’e body type & playing style. Cant wait to see Shaka in the drills. I foresee him being very hard to block in 1 on 1s.

DL Shaka Toney, Penn State
Height: 6’2”
Weight: 238
Wing: 82 1/8”
Arm: 33”
Hand: 9 1/2”

A lot of his film is old, so i didnt post those. But here’s what the DraftNetwork guys had to say. It’s at the end around the 4min mark or so.

Payton Turner is my favorite... Like Jordan Smith and Tarron Jackson. Will be watching Elerson Smith also...
