Players are hoping to do anything to catch the eyes of scouts during practice this week and Michigan safety Jamar Adams had one of those moments in the North's first practice Monday afternoon at Ladd-Peebles Stadium.

In a 7-on-7 drill, Adams came up and put a nice hit on West Virginia fullback Owen Schmitt, a guy famous for breaking 10 facemasks in his Mountaineer career. The hard lick drew a collective "Ooooo" from the scouts as Schmitt went reeling backward and his helmet flying forward.

"We had just put in that coverage," Adams said. "The thing I was happy about was I executed the coverage like I was supposed to. You want things like that, especially as a safety. That's what you do -- come up and hit people. Hopefully, it was just one of many plays this week. I look forward to keep doing it." Full Story – Press-Register
