Sharks Win Division, VooDoo Host Force For Wild Card Spot (1 Viewer)

The Jacksonville Sharks thumped the Pittsburgh Power 64-39.

So sad that the VooDoo had the division title practically in the palm of their hands just last week w/ a 17 point lead midway through the 4th qtr.

Now the VooDoo know they are fighting for a wild card spot in a winner-take-all game against the Force tomorrow (Saturday) night. Winner to the playoffs... loser goes home for the winter.

Apparently I'm wrong. The VooDoo can still get in w/ a loss... if Tampa loses later this evening @ Spokane Shock (9-8 and eliminated from National Conference Playoff Contention)

and just to think... the VooDoo can theoretically get in w/ an 8-10 record... while a (just assuming wins this week for the point of this post) 10-8 Shock and 11-7 Chicago Rush are sitting home next week

TB/SPO kicks off at 9 PM CT

As it is... winning is your best bet for the playoffs... rather go to Jacksonville and play the Sharks next week over going to Philadelphia to play the 14-3 Soul (they play their last game of the reg. season tomorrow evening... had things wrapped up in the American Conference a long long time ago)
