Even with it being a hometown discount, Cox and his agent settled really low as a multi All-Pro. He’s the only FA DT that deserves the rate that DTs are going for now.

Rankins is making the same, and Onyemata, Dalvin Tomlinson and a few other below average-average unproven guys, market wise, are making significantly more.

I’m guessing Cox is helping the team cap situation this year and will cash in next offseason at $20M+
