Jeremy Shockey a Buccaneer? It could happen and after reading this, you won’t be surprised if it does.

Word around the NFL is that the Giants are so pleased with the way fellow tight end Kevin Boss is coming along that they are considering trading Shockey sometime during the offseason.

Now, there’s no guarantee that Shockey will be moved or that he’ll be traded to the Bucs, but a combination of things make Tampa Bay a logical landing point for the former Miami Hurricane.

First of all, the Bucs figure to be in the market for a tight end this offseason. Sure, they have Alex Smith but Anthony Becht and Jerramy Stevens are free agents and Shockey would be an upgrade over Smith. Full Story – Tribune
