Rapper Juvenile arrested in Mississippi for marijuana
JACKSON, Miss, --
The rapper known as Juvenile was arrested Tuesday for misdemeanor possession of marijuana, Lauderdale County Sheriff William Sollie said.

Juvenile, whose real name is Terius Gray, was stopped on Interstate 20 near Meridian because the car he was driving had an expired tag, Sollie told The Associated Press Tuesday night.

"A small amount of marijuana was seized and he was placed under arrest," Sollie said.

Juvenile was released later Tuesday. It was not immediately clear if he had hired an attorney or if a date had been set for an initial court appearance.

The rapper lives in New Orleans. A woman who answered the telephone at a number listed for a T. Gray declined to confirm that it was the rapper's residence and hung up.
