FORT LAUDERDALE-HOLLYWOOD INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, FLA. (WSVN) - According Broward Sheriff Fire, there are at least six people shot at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.

FLL officials said the shooting took place in the lower level baggage claim area, in Terminal 2 ,at around 1 p.m., Friday.

There was an active shooter call at one point. By 1 p.m., a suspect was in custody, according to Broward County’s mayor.

The extent of these six victims’ injuries is unknown at this time

It was at Terminal 2, which is the smallest Terminal. Delta and Air Canada operate there.

I live and work about 15-20 minutes from that airport. It's the one we travel out of.
