I have a friend who is about to leave her job and will need health insurance. Does anyone know:

a. Can she take COBRA if she is leaving the company voluntarily?
b. Where is the best place in Louisiana for her to look at getting individual health insurance?

b) just tell her to call several companies ( or Health Insurance Agents ) - off the top- Blue Cross and Coventry.

Blue Cross had the best packages when I looked into it a couple weeks ago.
