I saw the video on the news shortly after AK's incident. As a pending felony charge don't be surprised if NFL does not allow AK to play and is placed on paid leave until charges are resolved. As Las Vegas depends on tourism the city does not want tourists to feel unsafe at casinos and that is why this incident is considered a felony and carries a minimum 1 year jail.

Is it possible you're remembering reading the account of someone who's seen the video and in the time since your memory's filled it in the rest with images of what you read?

Just saying because his arrest feels like forever ago now, and I feel like I've got pictures sort of filled in in my own head of how things went and looked based upon accounts from back then that I remember reading and that were pretty close to what you've described.

I'm surprised too. That's what has me thinking it wasn't on TV. Hard to believe it was TV and I'm the only one who saw it. But I assure you I did. Must have been a leak from the casino or maybe some one on the Vegas police dept. that got yanked for legal reasons.

It’s possible that the casino (or maybe more likely someone from the casino that was unauthorized to do so) briefly shared it with a local news outlet but then clawed it back as unauthorized and in deference to law enforcement not wanting it released.

But in the modern era of digital broadcasting it’s hard to see how it wouldn’t have been duplicated at that point. Literally anyone with a TV or stream that can pause and rewind could have easily captured the video and posted it somewhere. But that doesn’t seem to have happened.

The video was out and I too saw it although its been long enough back that I can not remember if it was online or on local news. It does seem to be nowhere to be found now. Normally I watch channel 8 news out of New Orleans so maybe it was there.

So if I’m following correctly there is a chance this will take a long delay to go to court. If so the suspension would come following that, if so, are we even thinking it will be a suspension this year?

Yes, his contract was reworked along with every other veteran on the team that had more than a year left on their contract. I guess they are also looking at a possible suspension. BTW, there are probably a couple hundred players that had their deals reworked throughout the league.

The board is sleeping on this issue. If the video ever gets out, he’s definitely out for the year, and jail time sounds like it isnt a zero probability.

This is all very strange. I could have missed it elsewhere but this is the first discussion I've seen about the video being public in the days following his arrest. Was there any discussion of that in the other Kamara threads? A lot of the conversation has been predicated on the video not being public yet.

Of those who say they've seen it, so far nobody has confirmed where or been able to provide a link. Searches haven't turned up anything yet. There are some videos on YouTube that purport footage has been released but then sitting through one of them last night, nothing. It was obvious clickbait.

Not caught up in who is right and who is wrong, just find it fascinating to learn this long after the incident there is apparently confirmed video of the fight somewhere available to the public. A lot of people would be interested in seeing that if somebody can deliver.

I don’t think a camera video owned by a private party and seized into criminal evidence is a public record.

You may be right, as there was no clear answer online.

I think as the case moves along and the defense gets a copy, it will leak like the Ray Rice video. The point I'm making, is Vegas willing to let Kamara avoid any jail time after the video is shown? The video may surface before the NFL suspends Kamara. If that video leaks, Kamara would be lucky to get 6 games.

Really I think there was a clip of it early on. I remember seeing that it has a video clip but I didn't click on it. I was afraid to look at it. I think it got pulled right away. But I am puzzled that this case isn't talk about nationally or any video being released.
