My right ankle is sore, and I want to keep working out, but don't know if I should, or if I should rest it until its better. The pain is in the back, the achilles, and the outside of the ankle. On a scale of 1-10 for pain, I'd say a 3-4. What say you?

Ankle injuries take a while to heal up. The longer you stay on it, and keep going, the longer its going to take to heal. You need to keep it elivated and wrapped with a big bag of ice.

I'm no doctor, but I'd cut it off right below the knee and get me a peg leg and become a pirate. A parrot and eye patch would be helpful too.

Rub some dirt on it and quit whining.

If you have problems with sprained ankles it would be best to rest a couple days. Unless you are training for something in particular.

I'd take it easy and not risk further injury, but I wouldn't work out with good ankles either.
