My friend used to shower with his dog (Zeus - a Yorkie) regularly. Man he loved that dog, I'll never forget getting a frantic call from him one Saturday morning a few years ago. A big dog off leash killed Zeus in a park, so freakin sad....he was a great dog.

woke up this morning and he had a shower cap on and a back scrubber. the extreme tail wagging was really creepy

When we moved to our new house, we lost the tub with hand held shower wand and gained a jacuzzi tub and separate shower stall with wand. This means when our Golden Retriever Satchmo needs a bath, daddy strips down and we get clean. The hardest part is bending over for extended periods of time to scrub him down good and with Satchmo, he has to have Conditioner afterwards or he mats up really bad. So it isn't just shampoo, but conditioner and brushing.
