Simple questions. (Mostly) (1 Viewer)

OK, pretty good answers to all but #4. Here're are some more-

11) Why do men like boobs so much?
12) Where does the term Coon *** come from?
13) What's the problem with Africa?
14) Why is soccer so unpopular here when the rest of the world loves it so much?
15) Why is Google so prevalent among search engines?
16) Why do men go bald and women (usually) don't?
17) Why are icebergs made of fresh water?
18) Why don't the Hornets draw bigger home crowds?

18: Several reasons... first, they spent two years away from New Orleans, after just geting their footing here coming from Charlotte. Second, Charter and Cox cannot come to an agreement on showing games on the Northshore. That's where a lot of money/attendence would come from, especially after Katrina where so many people have moved away from the Southshore. Finally, the Saints, LSU in the BCS and an early Mardi Gras have really tied up people's attention -and most importantly, their disposable income.

2: Blame Thomas Jefferson. He resented the Federalist party of George Washington and John Adams -viewing them as an aristocracy out of touch with his beloved "common man", so he formed a rival political party to compete with them... thus the two party system was established. He continues to exist, because both major parites (keep in mind parties rose and fell during the history of the United States... see the Whig party, for example) keep their appeal borad enough to encompass as many issues as possible. Third parties, historially, have been single issue ones, thus not having much of a lifespan outside of that particular election cycle.

11: Do you want an anthropological answer? Large breasts were believed to be signs of fertility, so the answer I've seen on the History channel's "History of Sex" series has been that somewhere in our DNA's history we still associate that with the desire to mate with a woman who would provide us with heirs.

12. Different theories, ranging from Cajuns wearing coonskin caps to eating raccoons, to much more racist theories I won't get into
14. Because we can afford the equipment for better sports
17. Because salt melts ice would be my guess
18. Because the hierarchy of LA sports goes LSU football, Saints football, high school football, hunting, fishing, in that order.
