Since the Eli Apple trade... The D got its MOJO back from sacks to TOs to 4th downs. Defenses playing up to part with room to improve. (1 Viewer)

It's really been a fantastic few weeks. Much improved play calling(no 2 man rushes). The front 7 playing with so much swagger. William looking more comfortable with the back end finally ending the deep ball mishap.

Eli Apple development the past 3 weeks on such short notice has been under appreciated. Really happy both of them got INT today.

Apple’s skill set is markedly better than what we had. What we were hoping was a slight improvement has shown to be a fairly big improvement. The front office is killing it

He's the addition we needed. I believe the INT and the other missed INT brings his confidence to a whole new level from here on out.

I thought I was bad with long thread titles, lol.

But yeah I agree, the Eli Apple trade was huge.

The culmination of Apple, emergence of AA, and Rankins taking it to the next level has galvanized this D.
