If you have one which one do you have, which phone service do you have and do you like it.

I've finished my contract with Cingular and am now in need of a blackberry/smart phone. Cingular has what looks like the best phones but their service ****** me off at times.

Verizon has the best service from what I hear but they are really really expensive, don't have roll over and don't use SIM cards.

Suggestions?

:9:

verizon not using sim cards.. what's the negative about that?

verizon pricing on its smartphones is a bit higher than tmobile and at&t(formerly cingular)
I've been looking around a bit, as my contract is up next month.
Here where i'm at, i've had tmobile and verizon prior, friends with nextel/spring, metropcs, so far cingular has been the best for getting signal where i'm generally at,
going further north, verizon is generally better.
guess it really depends on where you are.

I am using a Cingular 8525 Windows Mobile 6 phone on T-Mobile. 3000 minutes for $49.95 and unlimited internet for $19.95.

I have T-Mobile and I'm currently using the Blackberry 7105t model, but I'm about to upgrade to the white Blackberry Pearl. I do like the Blackberry phones, except I find them way too bulky which is why I had the 7105 model and I'm now looking at the Pearl. You get the same features just in a smaller/sleeker package.

I've been with Cingular, AT&T(before the merge), and now T-Mobile. I really don't like Cingular because I feel it's too expensive for what you get and the customer service was horrible when I was a customer. Plus, I always had billing issues with them.

Right now, I have 1500 minutes with T-Mobile for $49.99 a month. My contract is up and I'm probably going to stay with this plan for as long as possible.

I've seen advertisements for an almost free Blackberry phone with a new signup with T-Mobile. You may want to check into that....

iphones now $200 cheaper and all iphone plans from ATT includes visual voicemail, rollover minutes, unlimited e-mail and internet.

$79.99 for 900 minutes, $99.99 for 1350 minutes. (unlimited weekend minutes and unlimited mobile to mobile)

it's all about the network where you are. all cell phone companies suck. but pick the one that has the best coverage where you are. are you still in the DC area? if so, when I was there, it was Verizon.

I have the BB Pearl. I like it that it's small, the phone is great, works with my car's bluetooth, but I miss my querty keyboard. get the new Curve.

Blackberry 8830 world edition from Sprint. 1st blackberry Ive ever owned and its true, once you black you never go back ;)

i have the blackberry pearl with t-mobile.
i like the phone and love the service. although i agree with ted - check out the keyboard on th pearl before you commit to it.

I have a Cingular 3125 smart phone, and I like it. I've been pleased with Cingular's service. It's the best of a crappy bunch.

I too the pearl. I dont mind the keyboard on it and it took me prolly about a month to get used to it. Funny, we went to Indy and Sprung was next to me with his 6 ft wide Blackberry ( dont know the model ) and gave it to me and I felt like I was holding a 2x4. Plus that roller thingy on the side ....love the roller ball on the pearl.

I have a Samsung SCH-i730 (Verizon), which I don't think they still offer. I selected it because it has MS Pocket PC 2003 OS, I was having problems with WM5 devices. Between being more stable than WM, and having MS Terminal Services client - which comes in very handy for my job - it was better for me. I haven't done any research on WM6, so it may be better now.

i have a verizon blackberry 7130e. bulky, but nice features

i have a sony ericsson z520a phone with cingular. it does what my blackberry does and is a lot smaller. i like my sony

verizon has better service

Thanks.

As far as SIM cards go it makes it easier/cheaper to take your phone abroad which is needed.
