Everyone knows Ohio St is the feeder program for the Saints, but who would have thought the second most popular college is little Southern Methodist University.

On the roster currently from SMU .....

Emmanuel Sanders
Thomas Morstead
Zach Wood

And within the past two years, we’ve also had the following on our roster....

Zach Line
Chris Banjo
Josh LeRebeus
Sterling Moore

That’s 7 guys from one little school that hardly puts anyone in the league.

Of little note, I just found it unusual.

Looks like there’s 12 in the NFL, with 4 being in NOLA.

If the saints are able to get James Proche at some point in the draft that would be a great add to the receiver corps. He would work himself into the #3 slot easily. Beuchelle as a QB for at least the practice squad would not be bad either.
